ION has created a revolutionary USB turntable allowing you to convert your old vinyl collection directly to CD or MP3 with the included recording software. The ION TTUSB also features a switchable phono/line level output for connecting to any home stereo with an AUX input.

Includes EZ Vinyl Converter 2 for PC (EZVC2) and EZ Audio Converter for Mac (EZAC); the best way to record and convert vinyl directly to iTunes. EZVC2 features Gracenote® MusicID technology, which analyzes your vinyl and automatically retrieves album, artist and song information for you! EZAC lets you easily enter track information.

Included Audacity software enables you to edit and clean your recorded tracks. It even enables you to convert 78 RPM records.

Obviously it works like any regular turntable, but plug a USB cable into the back of it and then into your computer, and with the software provided you can convert your vinyl into WAV, WMV and MP3s. You can even plug a tape deck into an auxiliary port and convert your old cassettes.

This product is compatible with any software that supports USB audio input sound cards - simply plug it into a spare USB port - it requires no special drivers for Windows (98,2000,XP) or Mac (OS9 and above).

By default the turntable converts tracks to WAV (high quality uncompressed) files. A simple way is to load the file into iTunes from Apple and convert to MP3 from there. It really is that simple any adult can do it. : )

If you are into music the chances are you still have some of those shiny black pancakes in coloured cardboard sleeves that we used to loving know as LPs! Well, despite having a working turntable, it is easier to put on a CD and so my poor record collection was merely a decorative piece than a valued music paradise. BUT NOT ANY MORE!!! This fabulous USB Turntable is the best thing to a music lover since sliced bread. The set-up was so simple and within 20 minutes I was recording an LP that I hadn't heard for years onto my PC. Another 20 minutes and all those irritating "pops", "crackles" and scratch sounds were completely gone thanks to the noise reduction recording software that comes free with the turntable. Within an hour a prized LP from my collection that is NOT on CD is now on both my MP3 player and a CD copy for the car! I'm now doing my gran's 78s for her to a CD - YES, IT EVEN DOES 78s! If that wasn't enough, you can also plug in a tape deck to get rid of "hiss" from your old cassettes too... AND it comes complete with all the leads you need to connect to both your PC and a stand alone Hi-Fi system. If you only buy one piece of kit this year, it's got to be the USB Turntable from Ion. You really do Want One Of These!
